<note>This research aims to determine the purpose of this study to find out how class activities are in learning public speaking. The design of this research is qualitative with descriptive method. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique with steps: 1. identification, 2. classification, 3. description, 4. conclusion. The results of the study show that classroom activities in public speaking subject for second semester students in element and sub-elements of method. There are approach, design, and procedure. Approach in this study that lecturer using language proficiency and using full English. In design lecturer using RPS as the guideline for teaching. In procedure the lecturer using model and strategies in teaching, Such as cooperative learning and information processing model.
