This research aimed to investigate the types of students’ disrespectful behaviors and teacher actions that happened in English class of seventh grade students at SMP Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau. The method of this research was qualitative descriptive. The data were obtained from observation (field note and video recording) and interview. The sources data were 72 students of A, B and C class and one English teacher. The findings showed that the types of students’ disrespectful behaviors were doing something in private, talking out of turn, verbal aggression, disrespecting teacher, non-attentiveness, daydreaming, idleness sleeping, out of seat, physical aggression, non-verbal communications, clowning, playing, have not prepared the textbook well, not wearing the waistcoat and passive engagement in the classroom. Beside it, the researcher also found the teacher actions in facing students’ disrespectful behaviors were non-verbal intervention, verbal intervention and logical consequences. Therefore, it can be concluded that students’ disrespectful behaviors and the teacher actions were most occurred in Islamic Boarding School spesifically in seventh grade students of SMP Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau.
