<note>This research aimed to find out the challenges and the activities faced by the lectures in teaching productive skills in pandemic situation at PGRI Silampari University. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were 2 of lecturers in English education study program of productive skills. In collecting the data, the researcher used two instruments. There were questionnaire and interview. For analyzing the data, the researcher followed three concurrent activities flows: data condensation, data display, and conclusion. For the results showed that there were many activities carried out of productive skills lecturers and also some challenges they faced when implementing teaching and learning activities in blended learning both in online and offline classroom. As like as the challenges were they were the lack students’ controlling and monitoring, the problem in applying technology, and the problem in time allocation due to the pandemic situation. Meanwhile, for the activities between online and offline classroom for speaking and writing which consisted of three parts, namely Pre- activity, Whilst- activity and Post- activity. In conclusion, students faced many challenges and activities included speaking and writing in activities teaching learning by applying blended learning in pandemic Covid -19 at PGRI Silampari University.
