<note>The purpose of the research was to describe students’ ability in writing procedure text. This research used a descriptive quantitative method for data collected in writing procedure text. The object of this research was the eleventh grade students at SMA Al-Ikhlas Lubuklinggau consist 21 students. Technique for collecting the data was written test. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative analysis techniques by determining data processing, data analysis, analyzing students score and giving score classification. Based on the assesment result of rater 1 and rater 2, the content component was included in the “ Good’’ category, with a total student score of 491 and a final result of 23.3. The organization component is included in the “ Good” category with a total student score of 323 and a final result of 15.3. Vocabulary component was included in the “good” category with a total student score of 341 and a final result of 16.2. Laguage use component was included in the “good” category with a total student score of 370 and a final result of 17.6 and the mechanics component was included in the “Fair” category, with a total student score of 64 and a final result of 3. There were 17 students who passed based on pasing grade, and 4 students who did not pass based on passing grade.  Based on analysis, the students’ writing ability porcedure text at SMA Al- Ikhlas Lubuklinggau were good category.
