TEACHING READING COMPREHENSION THROUGH THINK PAIR SHARE TECHNIQUE TO THE SEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL NUMBER 9 LUBUKLINGGAU
XML JSONThe problem of this research was to answer whether it was significantly effective or not through Think Pair Share Technique in Teaching Reading Comprehension to the Seventh Grade Students of Junior High School Number 9 Lubuklinggau in the academic year of 2023/2024. In addition, the objective in conducting this research was to find out the effectiveness of this technique in teaching reading comprehension to the Seventh Grade Students at Junior High School Number 9 Lubuklinggau. Here, pre experimental research with total population 246 students was used by the researcher. Then, the researcher used cluster random sampling included 31 students from class VII.C. From the investigation which had been done by the researcher, it was found out that tobtained was 0,92 which was higher than ttable 0,68 It can be concluded that the null hypotesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypotesis (Ha) was accepted. Finally, there was significantly effective to teach reading by Think Pair Share (TPS) Technique to the seventh grade students at Junior High School Number 9 Lubuklinggau in the Academic Year of 2023/2024.
