AN ANALYSIS OF CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT IN DIFFERENTIATED LEARNING CLASSES BY EFL TEACHERS AT SMA NEGERI 4 LUBUKLINGGAU
XML JSONThis research aimed to explore classroom management implemented by EFL Teachers, to explore the challenges faced by EFL teachers in managing the classroom and to explore students respond to the classroom management in the tenth grade kinesthetic differentiated learning at SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau. This research used a qualitative approach, a case study. The data obtained through checklist observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentations. The results of the analysis showed that EFL teachers implement classroom management through physical design of classroom, rules and routines, relationships, engaging and motivating instruction, and discipline. The challenges faced by teachers include physical design of classroom, maintaining rules, time management, designing learning activities, and insufficient facilities. Generally, students responses were positive, as they felt more guided, motivated, and able to participate effectively in the learning process. Thus, the implementation of classroom management at SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau in kinesthetic classrooms is effective, although further support in facilities and more systematic management strategies are needed to minimize challenges and optimize student involvement.
